It seems
like a nightmare in progress for so many people. Every hour we receive more
information about life-changing and life-challenging situations. With every
phone call our hearts become heavier and heavier with the news of people we
love going through so much.
I don’t have
all of the answers about everything that is taking place, but I do know that
God does. We must remember that He is
sovereign and holy, and He is not confused about any of this. The recovery will require a great deal of
work and a whole lot of love and patience.
I know this--
God never leaves us nor forsakes us, and I know that we can do all things
through Christ who gives us strength! I know that God works all things for the
good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose. We will
rise above this, and we will give God ALL the glory and praise. Our faith will
grow stronger and we will trust in the Lord even more than we did before the
storm. We continue to pray for you all.
God Bless!
Love in
Christ,
Bro. Mike
A Note
from the Pastor’s Wife:
Psalm 46:1 “Our God is our refuge and help in a very
present time of trouble.”
Our God is able
to do all things without measure. Remember that He is God over the storm. We
must step out in faith and trust that the Lord will provide. His ways are so
much higher than ours.
And the
church scattered responds: “God is good all the time and all the time God is
good!!!!”
Love,
Bridget
